Echoes of Thread

Defined by a deep love for handiwork and for those
distinctive cultural elements that render each piece unique and give it
value.

Guided by the rhythms of ancient craftsmanship, Faye Chatzi revives the ancient art of weaving with a practice rooted in intention, patience, and respect for the land.
Slow, deliberate, and free from modern intervention, her practice is entirely manual—unfolding
at the pace of the loom itself. From rare wool gathered on the island of Rheneia to peace silk raised in Mykonos, each thread is a gesture of continuity, a creation of deep-rooted legacy.

Wear the craft, hold the story.

The Atelier

A space woven with presence.

Observe, explore, or commission—a living loom inside Kalesma Mykonos.

The Planet

One Of a kind

Driven by a deep desire to explore, and reinterpret the authentic art of weaving, Faye Chatzi has collaborated with leading cultural institutions, ethical brands, and creative spaces. Each project is a unique creation born from her continuous search for dialogue, expression, and new ways to keep the thread of tradition alive.

A Craft in Harmony with Nature

Faye’s practice is rooted in sustainability—not as a concept, but as a lived, daily commitment.
Every thread is made from ethically sourced, natural fibers—wool from free-roaming sheep, peace silk from her own silkworms—processed without chemicals, machinery, or electricity.

Her textiles are dyed exclusively with natural, non-toxic
pigments that respect both the water and the skin. Because no synthetic materials are used, her fabrics decompose naturally, leaving no trace—just as nature intended.
